Social media marketing isn’t a fad. As time passes by, more and more small businesses are leveraging the power of social. 26 percent of small businesses dedicate at least one hour to social media marketing each day, and four in five (80 percent) plan to increase their use of social media this year.
Small businesses are using social media to reach potential customers across multiple social media channels especially where they spend time, moreover as an effective engagement tool for 2-way conversation. 84 percent of SMBs use social media to reach customers, 42 percent use these channels for consumer support and 48 percent have generated business directly through Twitter.
